Education and Career
After his law studies, Lutz worked as a research assistant at the Hans Bredow Institute. At the same time, he was able to finalise his dissertation. After his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg with stations at the copyright chamber of the Hamburg Regional Court, at NDR, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (FBD) and Hengeler Mueller, among others, Lutz was recognised as a lawyer in August 2003.
He started working as a lawyer in the IP/IT sector at FBD in Hamburg and London. In 2011, he joined Fritze Wicke Seelig (FPS) as a partner. This was followed by a further professional station at Norton Rose Fulbright.
Before joining YPOG, Lutz worked at Eversheds Sutherland. There, Lutz provided advice as a partner on national and international IT projects and outsourcing projects as well as on issues of software licensing, data protection, copyright and competition law.
