Berlin, January 2024 – YPOG provided comprehensive legal advice to Sereact, a company specializing in AI-powered robotics, on its €25 million Series A financing round.
The round was led by the prominent European venture capital firm Creandum. Additional investors included Point Nine, Air Street Capital, and a group of renowned angel investors, such as Nico Rosberg (former Formula 1 World Champion), Mehdi Ghissassi (formerly Google DeepMind), Ott Kaukver (Skype), Lars Nordwall (ex neo4j), Rubin Ritter (formerly Zalando), Torsten Reil and Niklas Köhler (both Helsing).
Founded in 2021, Sereact develops hardware-independent AI models that are revolutionizing automation across warehousing, logistics, and other industries. Through its Vision-Language-Action Models (VLAM), the company is setting new standards in robotics by enabling robots to adapt flexibly to dynamic environments and tasks.
This innovative approach positions Sereact as a pioneer and drives its vision of establishing Embodied AI as the new standard in robotics. The technology is already being used by leading clients, including the BMW Group, Daimler Truck, Bol, MS Direct, and Active Ants.
With the new funding, Sereact plans to expand its research and development efforts, support additional robotics platforms, including mobile robots and humanoids, and significantly strengthen its presence in the United States.
