Robert Schramm

Robert advises sponsors and fund managers on the structuring of investment funds and other investment vehicles in the field of venture capital and private equity as well as on regulatory compliance. He accompanies his clients in licensing procedures, ongoing regulatory matters and advises them on all questions of general corporate law. 

In its “Best Lawyers - Ones to Watch” rating, Handelsblatt in cooperation with Best Lawyers® has repeatedly recognized Robert in the area of venture capital, and also in the areas of private equity and corporate law.

Education and Career

Robert studied law in Berlin and completed his legal clerkship there as well. He worked as a trainee at a major US law firm, the German Federal Ministry of Justice, the Constitutional Court of Berlin and in the Berlin office of a leading law firm specializing in regulatory law.

    • on the structuring of its private equity and growth funds as well as ongoing corporate and regulatory matters
    • on transactions and joint venture structures, including one of the first De-Spac transactions in the German market involving tonies SE, the indirect investment in Sartorius AG as well as a joint venture with Viessmann to acquire a significant minority stake in the pharmaceutical company PharOS
  • Amino Collective on the structuring of its venture capital fund
  • DTCP on a joint venture transaction with Porsche Automobil Holding SE and the establishment of a Luxembourg fund structure
  • Fly Ventures on the structuring of its venture capital funds
