Maximilian provides comprehensive advice to companies, family offices and high net worth individuals on tax and selected civil law issues. He focuses his work on all aspects of corporate tax law and international tax law. Among others, Maximilian provides tax advice on M&A/carve-out transactions.
Education and Career
Maximilian studied law at the University of Bayreuth with additional training in economics as well as university specialization in corporate and business tax law. He completed his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Bamberg.
Before joining YPOG, Maximilian was an associate and trainee at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Munich and London and a trainee at Allen & Overy.

Maximilian's recent work highlights include:
- Advising a family business in various restructurings (i.a. mergers, changes of legal form, contributions)
- Advising a corporate group on the tax review and structuring of international research, development and license agreements
