Dr. Jannik Zerbst

Education and Career

Jannik studied at the University of Passau. After working as a research assistant in the M&A and corporate department of a major international law firm, he completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. Jannik then completed his doctorate at the University of Passau on a copyright topic and worked at a chair in the field of data protection and IT security law while completing his doctorate. Jannik completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court in Schleswig with the second state exam. Before joining YPOG, Jannik worked for a medium-sized law firm in Kiel as a lawyer specializing in corporate law (M&A) and commercial law. Jannik is currently studying part-time for an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Taxation at the University of Münster.

Recently, Jannik mainly advised the following clients:

• Picus Capital Management on the structuring of its venture capital fund, Picus Ventures Fund II.
• DUBAG Group on the structuring of its third private equity fund, Lenbach Equity Opportunities III.
• FLEX Capital on the structuring of its funds with the aim of investing in Omikron.
