Jan advises investors, start-ups and other corporate clients on debt financings and venture capital transactions, as well as on all aspects of corporate law. Jan has a particular focus on venture debt.
Education and Career
Jan studied law in Heidelberg and in Vilnius, Lithuania. He completed an LL.M. degree at the University of Texas at Austin, USA. In the past, Jan has worked as a research assistant for several major international law firms. During his legal clerkship, he furthermore worked in a department of the German Federal Chancellery and at the German-Colombian Chamber of Commerce in Bogotá.
