As a specialist in commercial and fiscal criminal law and a specialist lawyer for criminal law, David advises companies and decision-makers on all matters relating to criminal and administrative offense law and in other cases of suspected compliance violations. He represents and defends his clients in all investigative or judicial proceedings with a criminal or regulatory offense background. Another focus of his work is assisting clients in internal investigations to clarify potential compliance violations.
Education and Career
Prior to joining YPOG, David headed the German Corporate Crime & Investigations practice of the international law firm Eversheds Sutherland. Prior to that, David worked for the renowned commercial and fiscal criminal law firm ROXIN in Duesseldorf and Hamburg. He studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, the Universita di Firenze and at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where he also obtained his doctorate. David also holds a Master of Laws degree in International Criminal Law from Columbia University New York and the University of Amsterdam.
