Berlin/Hamburg/Cologne/Munich, January 2025 – The business and tax law firm YPOG has bolstered its recently-opened Munich office and its range of tax advisory services by adding renowned tax expert Jörg Schrade to its ranks.
Jörg has been a part of YPOG’s Tax practice since January 1. He joined from international law firm CMS, where he had been a partner since 2018. Jörg contributes his expertise in advising international corporations and financial investors on national and international tax issues. His core competencies include tax advice for M&A and private equity transactions, venture capital investments, restructurings, reorganizations, financings, employee-participation programs, cross-border activities, general corporate tax law, and the implementation of innovative business models. A particular focus of his is on digital, energy, and biotech companies. With his expertise, Jörg will further enhance YPOG’s Tax practice, which is highly regarded in the market and currently consists of around 60 attorneys and tax advisors, including 8 partners, and is headed by Andreas Kortendick (Cologne office).

To achieve this, the firm has already succeeded in bringing on board additional professionals.
