DTCP invests in Open Dutch Fiber

Berlin – While working at SMP, members of the YPOG team provided comprehensive tax advice to investment manager DTCP on the structuring of its investment in Open Dutch Fiber.

Open Dutch Fiber is an independent platform in which Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LLP (KKR) holds a majority stake and DTCP a minority stake. The company will deploy Fiber-to-the-Home (FttH) broadband in urban areas and areas with higher population density in the Netherlands, providing households and businesses with high-quality fiber connections. The rollout will start in the second quarter of 2021. With T-Mobile Netherlands, the leading mobile operator in the Netherlands, Open Dutch Fiber has already secured an important first tenant for its network over 20 years.

More information is available on the DTCP and KKR websites.
