Berlin – While working at SMP, members of the YPOG team advised early-stage investor Amplifier on its investment in the Berlin-based startup Hive. The young company has set itself the goal to democratize the direct-to-consumer business. The €6.6 million seed round, led by Earlybird Venture Capital, included Amplifier as well as existing investors such as Picus, Flixbus Founders and Forto Founders. With the funding, Hive aims to invest in and expand its Team. Amplifier was again legally advised on this investment by a Team led by Stephan Bank.
"We are experiencing extraordinary growth in the e-commerce sector not only since the beginning of Corona. Operationally, this leads to increasing complexity on the path from the online store to the customer. For strategic investments in innovative and custom-fit solutions in the area of these supply chains, no time seems better than now", says Stephan Bank.
More information can be found on the Hive company website.
